The Arizona Rough Riders is a living history group which brings the Spanish-American War era (1898) to life. Dressed in authentic period dress of the famous Rough Riders, they describe the era, the war, the effects, and the social mores of turn of the century America. Flagstaff men also went to the war in the famous “cowboy cavalry.” The Rough Riders are the most famous “all volunteer unit” in the history of the US Military. At noon, they will present, “History of the Arizona Rough Riders and the Spanish-American War in Cuba.” This event does not include tour admission to Riordan Mansion.
